This blog is based on the Highlights of Youth Festival 2023 organized by Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University on 03/04/05 November 2023.
In this blog I am going to share my experience of the Youth Festival and also going to give an outline of various events.
The festival featured a total of 32 competitions organized under five sections, including Literature, Music, Fine Arts, Dance, and Theatre, each with a specific name:- "मनभावन शब्दम" - English Department- "मनभवन स्वरम" - New Court hall- "मनभावन नृत्यम" - Amphitheatre- "मनभावन नाट्यम" - Atal Auditorium- "मनभावन रंगम" - External Department
Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University organized its 31st Youth Festival, named "Manbhavan Yuvak Mahotsav," from November 3rd to 5th, 2023, and this time, it was hosted by the #Physical_Education_Department of the university.
On the first day of youth Festival there was a Kala Yatra. In Kala yatra Many colleges came with a various themes. Our English Department presented theme of Oppression to Freedom.
Various societal roles such as 'Balika Vadhu' (young bride), widow, laborer, motherhood impose distinct expectations and control over women's lives." We're also highlighting themes of female empowerment, showcasing women in professions like doctors,lawyers, dancers, Cricketer and more."
Bound by Expectations: Women and Societal Control
There are numerous themes presented by other colleges in Kalayatra.
At our department, we have three events: a poetry competition, a quiz competition, and an essay competition.

4. The Importance of Value based Education
5. Plastic Pollution - Problems & Resolution
The Essay writing competition was impressive! The essays were really interesting, covering lots of different topics.
● Quiz competition
The quiz itself was thrilling! Participants showcased their skills, making it an engaging and competitive event. Quiz competition was held in two
parts.
In 2nd part there was 5 finalised team of different colleges.
Bhajan :
These were some of the bhajans that were performed there.
- એકલા આવ્યા મનવા, એકલા જવાના
- વીજળીને ચમકારે મોતીડા પરોવો પાનબાઈ
- ભક્તિ કરવી એને મેલવું અંતરનું અભિમાન
- નથી મળતા એમને ચુકવવા પડે મોલ સંતના
- કર્મનો સંગાથી રાણા મારું કોઈ નથી
- મને જ્યાં ગમે છે ત્યાં હરું છું ફરું છું
- મોહે સુની સુની આવત હસીં
