Slumdog Millionaire is a drama film from 2008, produced in Britain, and is loosely inspired by the 2005 novel Q & A by Indian writer Vikas Swarup. The film follows the life of an 18-year-old boy named Jamal Malik, who comes from the slums of Juhu in Mumbai.
